New haas coolant condenser. Thoughts?

Not seen it before. But I could see it being helpful if you do alot of roughing (if it works??). We used to rough turn some stuff that would leave that cloud in the air when you opened the door, and would need a good 30 second airblast from the air nozzle to see what was what.... As far as re-circulating the coolant, that would work by itself if you leave the doors closed for 30sec-1min after the parts are done...

We have the older version on every machine. They have to be ducted for heavy milling especially facemilling. This new one looks much better.

Im sure it would work fine. We just duct all our machines out of the older style mist collector from haas.

I think something like this new system would be good for cold climates.
Keep the mist down but avoid pumping all of the shop air you just heated outside.

exactly...or in our case all the 73 degree air! thankfully I built this building crazy insulated so the electric bill isnt terrible.

73, that's around 22 Celsius.
That's a really nice day here, full on summer!

I was more referring to our average -15 to-20c where I'm at! -4 F for your system.

You HEAT your shop at 73deg f??
Or you mean insulated from the heat?

Lol, different worlds for sure!
