Requesting advise; HRT310 Vs. HRT310SP

I have checked the specs Haas lists for both of these rotaries and they are identical. Has anyone found any reason to not go for the smaller footprint of the SP version?

I know this is an old thread that looks to be unanswered but I am wondering the exact same thing.

Might have changed from 2018, but it is not a smaller footprint really, just reconfigured. Just a WAG, but maybe if you are running out of room in the Y axis you would buy the square footprint model and vice-versa?
