Is there a way to convert older Haas floppy drives to USB?

I have several I would like to convert the floppy or add USB, has anyone done this?

I bought two of these for my older Haas mills, and while I've only installed one so far, it's been working fine. However, this style only lets you use a 1.44Mb max thumb drive, as it is only an emulator, not a "full service" adapter than can take larger than regular floppy file sizes.

You'll need a program to configure a USB thumb drive to floppy compatibility: GOTEK Floppy Emulator - philscomputerlab.com
