I am doing some flats on a shaft with a g112. I am wanting to use a variable for the z depth. My questions are do i have to define the variable at the beginning of the program or can i do it right before the cycle? Can i use any number for the definition? An example, can i use#1 or does the actual number have to start at a certain place.
