    Default How to close pictures??????

After a site "upgrade" several months back, clicking on pictures in a post enlarges them but I can see no way to close that picture and return directly to the post, as in the past. The only way I have found to get out of the picture is to hit the back button, which takes me out of that post.

Is there a way to close the picture and stay in that thread?

There is a "close" button in the lower right corner which will close that picture.

I ran into that problem the other day and I think I had to change the "view" setting to get it on the screen.

    Back button, buddy.
(if there's no other nav option shown...)

I ran into this after the last "Upgrade" I found if I kept hitting the right side scroll bar, the close button would eventually appear. But then, after a HD failure, I reinstalled with Windows 9-3/4 and the problem went away.

Click the very LEFT side of the screen about midway down. There is no X there, but it works and it does not throw you out of the thread.

Close button was not visible in lower right corner. By using both (right and bottom) sliders, it came into view. ESC and left side click also worked. So, answers 4, 6, and 7 worked.
