( I hope I put this on the right forum)
I just have a question about lubrication on a couple small bearings....
The bearings are 629-2RS and 6002-2RS...they go in an electric sander...I think they maybe considered high speed I am not sure
The sander was running real bad and I like to tinker so opened up the bearings and no grease or anything...I have been taught or assumed general grease from a grease gun would be fine...I packed them and sealed the back up...
They move smooth but they dont spin really...did i put too much grease? Are you suppose to oil instead? (If so ...will gear oil work?)
Or will it spin alot better once I put it back on and run the sander alittle?
(I dont want to go through all the trouble of outtu g it back together and then it not work)
