Biax 7EL Part #59 Base Stopper - Info required

Hi folk

Trying to get the Base Stopper (P/n. 201-351-701) as shown in the parts diagram below (Item #59)

If anyone has one to sell then I'd be happy to buy it OR ... can someone send me the diameter and length please so I can make one.

That part is an exchange for the handle. No one uses either one. Most throw them away as when the press the end of the scraper into their hip or elbow it hurts.

Looks like you can work out the thread from the captive nut. It's going to be something like M8 or M10 at a guess.

I have one on mine. It locates the tail of the machine into a hole in the storage box, otherwise it serves no use except as something to keep an eye on as it tends to work loose and fall out.

I'll get dimensions for it John.

What would the stopper do? Keep the cord from getting crushed if it was dropped? (edit, just saw previous post)

I found that an extra die grinder handle I had threaded right in. It's not necessary for most work when you're cradling it in the crook of your elbow, but handy when you need to reach far over or around something.
