    Brushes: Blue Biax brushes -

Speed control: Retro-fit speed control to old Biax 7 EL

Can't help with the brush caps but as I said I would just make them, they are a simple part.

BTW John you can make that 7EL vari-speed by removing the switch and robbing the speed control from a £20 Aldi/Lidl grinder - plus you get the benefit of a cheap grinder (that only works on full speed.

Brush cap I would simply make. Links coming up...
OMG This is like winning the lottery!

Thanks Peter - looking forward to hearing more

The Metabo Jigsaw motor internals ST EP 564/565 fit perfectly. They come up all the time on eBay. If you're lucky enough to find the model without the top handle I do believe it's a direct fit straight onto the gearbox. Can't remember the model, might be ST EP 700. I repaired one a couple of years ago and that is the one I had at the course, a green BL10. They are very nice to use.

Bringing a Biax BL10 back to life.

All great stuff Peter - Very helpful, the only downer is the eBay link that can't find the item number any more.

John, I think I have a spare set of 7EL brushes, which you can have (I ended up buying a BL40). Ping me on the weekend and I'll rummage around for them. Cheers, Bruce
