    Default Blanchard grinding service in Atlanta ??

    I need a machine table Blanchard ground anyone with a 48" capacity table in the Atlanta Ga area?

    It is from a Storm Vulcan 85B mill.

    Surely somebody in the Atlanta area can do this, if not Precision Grinding in B/ham can.

    Withers or Precision are both good shops.

    Unless you can get the center post out you are going to need one larger than 84".

    I tried heat and 50T to remove the center post on the unit at work years ago. It laughed at me and stayed in place. So we ground it with the center post in place on a 10' Blanchard. Later, one of the other guys was talking with Storm Vulcan about other pieces, and Storm Vulcan told him the center posts are shrunk in place. They cut them out on a VTL when rebuilding a machine.
