Tearing an excello 602 apart. Bottom section of pulley has a locknut. Part number 12-12041. Not sure if it is left hand or right hand thread. Any ideas. Thanks, Greg.

I got into my Excello vari speed unit about 15 years ago. All I remember was that there were no major surprises, and I don't recall any left hand fasteners.

Thanks. One more question. The quill downfeed gears. Do I have to remove the worm gear before they come out or is there an easier way. Greg.
