Hello, I’m new to PM and this is my first post.
Anyway,We just picked up a Hendey 12x30 lathe from a warehouse that was sold and the contents were to be scrapped out. The Son-in-Law and I have decided to restore it we just couldn’t stand the idea of losing a machine with such character forever. We would appreciate any help with information and history of this Hendey.
Serial # 32552 (stamped on top);
(3) tags- “USN Bu ORD 007255 NOP INDPLS ACCTG# 163”; a brass plate with a number 4 stamped which is above the USN tag. And also another brass plate with “60878-USN,006842” stamped.
