Default Lubrication in Machine tools and Machinery

I was looking up some info on grease for a grinder spindle rebuild and saw this information and found it useful as using the proper grease in in a machine recondition is super important. I use Mobil number 32 "Red Horse" Aviation grease when installing new spindle bearings on a regular basis. I also have used Klueber Isoflex grease. It is important not to use to much grease as the churning of the grease can heat up the grease and the oils will run out eventually and destroy the bearing.
Here is a movie i found on You Tube. Talks about bearings, bushings, gears https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGgIvDNDuYc
At the end of the show it talks about the wedge and it also applies to scraping and friction. Rich

I saw that thread also Rich. That was Pete from down under. I'd have used MTS or MTE if going the NSK route.
But Charles is bound to lock this thread, because it's not forum specific.

    Regards Phil.

Rather regretable, we can talk paint, but cant discus the finner arts of lubrication.
