Its been like 15 years since I painted a machine. I had a 2 part epoxy like paint that was grey. It worked great but It was like $130-$150 for 2 gallons.

I got another one by mistake that we never used. Same color but wasnt what was ordered over the phone. I dont know if its bad or not but we never used it.

I have some new to me machines coming in and I also feel like painting the rest of my machines would brighten the place up a little and not feel so run down.

I havent done much research so I am looking to you guys for advice from personal experience.

My machines will see oil and not coolant. Im sure it matters.

I'm doing a machine at the moment, using 2-component gloss polyurethane (PU) paint (MIPA 200-90). I think this is better (more chemical/abrasion/UV resistant, easier to spray and clean up) than epoxies. Be sure to have good skin/lung protection, the isocyanates are nasty.
