I thought I would post an announcement here as I am sure not all of the folks who frequent this forum check the "for sale" regularly.
I have setup my own foundry to cast straight edges, prisms and related gear. (Let me tell you that casting is a blast, but it is incredibly labor intensive.) That allows me to make casting even better than those available through large operations since I can control every aspect of their manufacture. This is a labor of love and not a big money-making venture. But I do love it.
I am currently making 36" straight edges,but am casting prototypes of lightweight rigid prisms and will in a couple months time (hopefully) be casting 48" straight edges of a design very similar to my 36.
I accidentally posted the for sale notice to the general section, but I asked the mod to move it to the "for sale" forum. I expect the thread to be moved soon.
