Hello, I have recently disassembled, cleaned and painted a van norman boring bar and now it is time to fill its gear box with grease. The factory manual suggests a fibrous/sponge type grease. In it was Hytex no.3 from factory, being that grease is no longer available I thought id get some opinions for a replacement. This is a enclosed low speed gearbox consisting of some brass gears. There is a vertical mounted bearing and a few other areas where grease could potentially bleed through. Thanks in advance
