2003 Wells Index 3HP 847 Milling Machine W/ DRO Bridgeport power drawbar $4200

Up for sale is this USA made 2003 Wells Index 847 milling machine. This is a very heavy duty knee mill. This has a 3 axis Acurite DRO and a Mitutoyo digital readout on the quill. Additionally, this has an air operated power draw bar. The spindle is a 30 taper. The motor is a 3HP Baldor and the head is variable speed with a back gear. The table is 48" long. This is equipped with a riser block that allows for extra Z height. The machine is currently wired for 460V but the motor is dual voltage 230/460 so you could wire this for either. I have a forklift on site and can load a truck or trailer at no cost. This machine is in good condition and is ready to go to work.

Wells Index is still in business in Michigan making great milling machines. The parts and support service is second to none. This is a great brand of milling machine that a lot of folks haven't heard about.
