Well, listing this as there is a nice south bend locally for sale that I would like to try and purchase, and gaining the threading capabilities and what not is seriously making me consider this.
This lathe is in great shape, I have only been using it to turn aluminum, and before that it was used lightly in a repair shop. It functions as it should, not really too sure what else to say about it.
This is a DSM 59 Base I believe, which has been converted to the DV-59 with angling compound and tailstock. I do not have the turret or cross slide for this machine unfortunately.
Included is a 3 jaw chuck, 4 jaw chuck (both the hardinge taper), about 20 5C collets, maybe an aloris AXA tool post if you can talk me out of it, and some other misc lathe tooling.
My price may be too high, but I am looking for $2500, and I can help load into a pick-up or trailer (3 strong people in the house)
