Default 2011 Yama Seiki GLS-200M CNC Live Tool Lathe

Business is doing well and growing and it's time to step up to a larger, sub-spindle lathe. I have to make room for it so I need to sacrifice one of my lathes. I have owned this lathe for 5 years and it has served me well. It has been well maintained and still holds .0005" tolerances or better.

    Some of the features are:

    Tail stock w/programmable quill
    2" through main spindle
    C axis polar coordinates
Rigid tapping -- main spindle and live tools
    Fanuc Series oi-TD
15 hp main spindle 4200 rpm
    Live tools 4400 rpm
    Power tool setter
    Embedded ethernet

    Included with the machine are:

    8" chuck
2 z axis live tool holders
3 x axis live tool holders
    Various tool holders
    Yama Seiki and Fanuc manuals
    Chip conveyor
(No tooling in the pictures is included.)

PM or email me with any questions or if you are seriously interested.

    Asking $30,000 OBO

    Buyer responsible for rigging/transportation.

    Well....

I see a lot of looks but no questions or interest? Am I asking too much $$ or is this just not a lathe that people want?

I need to move it for space because my new one is coming in a few weeks. It is a very good lathe!!

    Thanks for any input.

It seems the Taiwanese machines don't get much attention around here. I'm in the market for a lathe, but my budget limits me to something older.

Have a bump and good luck with the sale.

Is this still available, and also what would you be asking for your F-20 out of curiosity?

If my haas would sell, I would probably turn around and drop the $$$ right in your lap.
That is almost exactly what I am looking for.

At this point I am leaning towards keeping the Yama Seike And selling my Dainichi.
My new lathe is coming the beginning of October, so I need to move one of these out!!
I will start a new thread for the Dainichi. asking $10000 for it.
