Keep an eye on how he does with this sale. If he gets his price, who knows, there may be an unrecognized market out there for ones just like it.

Keep an eye out for flying pigs too.

I'd think if one of the inmates at the prison there has internet connection this might be an attempt at humor. When you have nothing but time on your hands things look different.

Or maybe just another upstate NY person going insane.........

South bend lathe - general for sale - by owner
South Bend lathe very good condition been in storage for 10 years you can do up to 28 inch gun barrels all the tooling is there 3 different trucks has a grinder sander built on the end of the table includes all the handles slide tables and barrel guards make boats thread nuts 110 motor single phase Multiple speed Used for automotive building guns or hobby needs a good cleaning and oiling works great call

If that's "very good condition", I wonder what "not very good condition" would look like? Coral growing from it with fish swimming down the spindle bore?

Ya know, with the tooling shown, and presuming the "many other" tools and fixtures mentioned are useful, that's not a terrible price. Maybe a bit high, but we don't know unless we can get a view of the mystery stuff.

For sure not as outrageous as the "I know what I have" mill above - that one I saved the ad so I can have the occasional chuckle over it.

I don't see what the funny is - it's obviously a sales tool. Short term rental or long term installment plan, I don't know.

Is that a price for the machine, or a quote to move it?

It's sort of specialized so few people would need it, digger doug, but that's not at all a crazy price compared to new.
