I'm sorry, this isn't a CL item, but I actually fell out of my seat laughing when I saw the price of this one and just had to share it. This must be made out of gold or something...

$250-300 is probably your average price yeah. I do think they're a bit underrated, they're pretty capable in a non-production environment.

Current owner is obviously a dumbass given by the fresh giant peck marks. Mine was $150 but quite crusty. Very good shape underneath though.

I live 30 miles from this one - and I'm with Doug. I'd be amazed if he gets that much but who knows.

Maybe one of the extremely rich NYC refugees who have reportedly moved into the area since the shutdown is an 'Old Arn' collector....

Made outta gold PLATED Bullshit, yah mean. My 1940's Walker-Turner head casting has the mount for that rig cored and bored ready to go. Never had one on it, don't really NEED it, could probably cobble one up outta drops and stock Chicago or Congress ZAMAK pulley for twenny bucks. Two new BELTS would cost more, and those are stock Vees, cheap enough with no need of pop-bead make-yer own ones.

Strangest possible of political bedfellows, our "coastal elites".

Left to their basic nature, enterprising Kaliphoney-oh's would bone New Yorkers and peddle them for surfer's wetsuits.

New Yorker's in turn would skin air-head Kalifornios and sell them as personal high-altitude anti-gravity transportation.

Not for lack of experience "Air Force Pelosi' and Sputniks call the rest of the Yew Ass of Ay "flyover country".

    Bill / Doug -

Well, there is NY and then there are those of us from the sticks. And I have good friends who live down in the City.

I've been to some fairly remote parts of this planet, as well as neighborhoods in cities. Always seemed to me about 90% of the people were pretty good and just wanted to live their lives in peace, work and enjoy their time. Then there were the other 10%.

At least most of the folks on PM fall into that 90% from my experience.

    I'd go 99%, actually.

Folks do not have to AGREE with each other to still be decent humans.

    Folks start agreeing with ME?

I don't even remember the last time I woz scared real bad... but that might do it!

I heard an East Indian monk once say that "if two enlightened masters agree on everything, you can be sure one of them is a fake."

"Modern Management" ... and bean-counters ... as they are? One if not BOTH would be TF off the payroll in a New York Minute as "redundant" ... in the fullest sense of the word, too!

    "Viva la Differentpants!"

Some among us seem to have shat in theirs with boring regularity, so we best keep moving onward for many and SEVERAL reasons?

Yah'd have to grok "virtual olfactory" manufacturing technology?

Reality is unitary but no two people can see it from the same position at the same time. I found it interesting that a religious/spiritual figure would point that out. Usually the religious leaders claim only one perspective is clear or correct - their own. What was that bit about the lame leading the blind? I suppose the blind men & elephant fable has been saying that ever since when.

not CL, but I might be driving out to Apple valley tomorrow, this looks too good to pass up. Tree mills that shipped with Bridgeport nameplates, a rare find indeed.
