OK, meaningless thread title...

But, that is my lathe pretty much exactly except for all the rust. Plus, I don't have that funky spindle stock support thing, nor has my brake lever been heated up and bent upwards.

I should add that my lathe, bought out of Ohio from an individual who said it was in great shape, came with a feedbox full of rusty water. WTF. The headstock was fine.

I cleaned it all up, and it's worked fine over the past 15 years. But some of those gears....a lot of those gears...are super pitted with rust.

One of those machines sold locally last summer for $550, with tooling and accessories.
It was in true excellent condition and looked very nice in the pics.

Yeah, but that is east coast pricing, on the west coast you have to add in the price 10+ mules dying dragging it across the salt flats....
