For sale in Melbourne Florida. Both run well, are accurate and reliable. I need the room for 2 bigger machines.

1991 Fadal VMC20, 22"x16"x20" , 4th axis VH65 rotab $6500

10 hp Fanuc spindle motor and Hitachi drive. 6500 rpm. Unlike the original motor, this doesn't stall..
New X axis ball screw for a VMC 40, X axis is now 22", replaced 4 years ago
New X servo, cabling and resolver
Replaced Y axis resolver
Reballed Y and Z screws, .0001 backlash, they are not as quiet as a new screw...
Turcite resurfaced on saddle and table, bronze gibbs re scraped. original turcite replaced in 2005.
All new lube meters and much of the lube lines replaced
A axis motor and resolver replaced 18 months ago. A axis drive replaced., new cable and conduit.
Coolant pump rebuilt
New low gear shift cylinder and prox switch
Spindle bearings and drawbar springs replaced 6 years ago, low hrs since
Software was upgraded in 1996 to the highest revision for that series control

The machine had synthetic coolant in it, it ate the paint and pitted the Y axis ways. Been like that since 2005, its ugly but functional.

These are solid machines that were taken care of. They were run, but not beat and not crashed. They gotta go and we can probably get them rigged out reasonably when my new stuff gets here.
