Saw this on Tempe Craigslist. If ya need a big lathe for cheap, not a bad deal. Looks to be in decent shape for its age.

I see two problems-

1) There's one too many zeros in that price.

2) The space that machine occupies is worth more than that machine can possibly produce. If you have the need/resources for a machine that size you need a better one.

A friend had that exact same machine. He used it for patternmaking. I doubt he paid a cent for it.

I like the Heavy LeBlonds - even the 100 year old ones

You can see the 1911 style taper attachment peeking up back there - its was the P&W style - on a fitted dovetail along back of bed

Here is a picture from that year catalog

Here is its brother (that never sold that I know of) up in Ohio - likely a few years less old
