Fun facts. The remarkable Brother 27K spindle goes from 0 to 27,000 rpm in 0.6 seconds. It has more horsepower than the 16k spindle. It has more torque at 10k rpm and above than the 16k spindle. It has a stellar 10 year track record with 1000s installed. It can start/stop the OSG 5" DiscCutter face mill like a light switch at 8k rpm. It can remove 50 cubic inches per minute of 6061 with ease. It machines Ti, 17-4 H900 and steels beautifully. Of course if you do lots of chamfering, engraving or machining with small cutters. it is amazing.

This part in 6061, was under 4 minutes with 7 tools. 5" face mill. 1/2" rougher (1.25" axial, .25" stepover), 1/2" finisher, drill, chamfer, tap (58) 0-80 holes, 3/32 end mill (floor pockets) and break edges all over:

Part with surfacing, about 1 hour cycle time:

Jeez, I pulled the trigger a bit too early and paid too much.

His price is not bad but a new one isn’t a ton more. I’m curious how much you paid? We bought one not even a year ago for 20% more or so. But that was brand new and a s700x2 same option except for the tool setter.

Ah I'm just being a Monday morning quarterback. I bought a TC-S2Dn0 recently, so no Speedio yet. It has a 4th and chip conveyor that pushed the price up but the package wasn't far off from this price. I've gotta quit whining and get to work!

There has been several price increases since your purchase Ian. This machine is a great opportunity for someone.

Just to clarify, the machine I have is pristine. I'm happy with my purchase. BROTHERFRANK has been awesome throughout the entire process.

I did think the machine was a good value for what it was. Been a very solid machine just really wishing they came with a graphite package or something. Ours is uh black inside and out…

Not saying his is a ripoff at all. I know new and used machines are skyrocketing in price these days. I actually never see these machines used especially not this new so hard to have reference on what they go for aswell.

Seller is motivated to get something done. Has other machinery moves in his shop coming up and would like to disrupt operations all at once if possible. Considering all offers. Thank you.

Almost exactly the machine I have, perhaps I have a couple more options[big plus] but even with what I considered a decent markdown it was quite a bit more than this, and I think mine is already dirtier, and I barely have figured out how to use it.

If you are thinking about it, jump, before a dealer picks it up and marks it up

silly fooking fast

I would like to see a video of that part being made in 4 minutes, that is nuts.

I didn’t realize how large the part is wow that is very impressive. In 4 minutes my fadal is still changing to the first tool.

In all seriousness these machines are fast too a program on the fadal that was a bit over 4 minutes and got it down to about 50 seconds
With more fixtures and actually toning the feeds down a little to keep it safe we are at 30 seconds per part machine run time. 3 tools
takes longer for the operator to flip the parts and load the machine than the minute and a half per cycle (6 halves)

I know I am preaching to the choir, but these are awesome machines. I still get a smile when I fire a part up at full rapids and let it rip. If my S1000 was paid for I would be chomping at this one for sure! A 27k spindle would be awesome for a lot of the little endmills I run.

PLENTY of value!

Dang! The cleanliness and condition of that machine vs. the 3000hrs of use in just 3 years speaks volumes about it's owner and their shop.

I did that for a local client about 10 years ago and unfortunately don't have video. This video (start about 1:30 in) will give you some idea:

The process I did for the sub 4 minute part was face with 5" OSG DiscCutter, 2 passes at 8k rpm/150 IPM, Rough with 1/2" corn cob 12k rpm/200 IPM, .25" step over, 1" DOC pocket, 1.25" DOC outside contour, Finish floor, walls and outside contour with 1/2" 3 flute finisher 20k rpm, 180 IPM , drill for (58) 0-80 holes, 20k rpm, blazing fast, chamfer holes, even faster, form tap at 8k rpm, 3/32 end mill floor pockets, 24k rpm, break all edges 27k rpm... It was basically 1 minute to rough, 1 minute to finish, 1 minute to drill/tap and 1 minute to chamfer/break edges.
