California is the next state over from Virginia, right? :-)
Looks nice!
I’m looking for a small surface grinder, just wish it were within driving range!

Now you post this. Been looking for a SG in very good shape. Just went all the way to Florida 2 weeks ago to pick up a Harig.

What kind of height are we taking about? Also, if you needed to get it through an 80" high door, is it possible and practical to remove items to lower it sufficiently? Thanks.

B&S 510, if you unscrew the shield for the vertical height screw can be 75" tall, with the
head lowered most of the way.

You could remove it from the base cabinet (3 bolts from inside the base) but no need to do that. Note: the column is held in place only by the leadscrew and the dovetails, so make sure you take that into account when you move one, to avoid damaging the nut or bending the screw.

you're right, had a fine pole suburban on it years ago,I will let it go with it.It didn"t work well though maybe worth getting repaired. The yuasa works fine.
