FS: Wade 8A Lathe SoCal

This was a beautiful machine, equal to Rivett's 8-inch Precision and 608 models for attention to detail and quality of fit and finish and an advance in terms of rigidity and capacity for rapid metal removal. Advertised as: "The ultimate in lathes for close precision work within its capacity"

Perhaps one of the best small footprint lathes one could ever find..and with a taper attachment, 4jaw, steady, collet set, Headstock Indexing, a very nice cabinet.
*if it was closer I would consider it.

Question: What thread pitches does it have?

Very likely one can switch out the motor to a single-phase if needing that.

Took a shot, made errs in range estimation and threw a flyer...despondent and pocket still on fire, consoled my self with a 1955 10-EE; decently tooled, reversing mechanism, 8 tool DRO, taper attachment, with G&L solid state drive.
I joked that answered ad for machine tag 10 EE tag resized.jpg, lo and behold a lathe was attached, increasing effort to rig and transport.

Well at least post pics in the antique section. Some of us have a great fondness for these lathes. I'm actually nearing the end of refurbing one.
