1962 hardinge HC-R-AT! Came out of a factory in Nebraska with everything included. The R designation is for "hot rod" these specialized models come with phenolic pulleys, motor fan, and large electronic disc brake vs the standard HC which has a variable speed system. The hot rod was designed for high speed use the brake activated when the fwd/rev is switch for an immediate spindle brake This also has the automatic threading unit with all parts included ( does not include any master threads or followers) I have several pulleys to go with it for the spindle drive but not a complete set. Under power everything works as it should. I bought two of these machines and restored one to keep. I figured out you can run the machine with two VFD, a small one controls the accessory power and larger controls the spindle independently. I also have all the manuals (in PDF form) and bearing references for a solid rebuild if you want to. There is surface rust of course but it cleans off with oil and scotchbrite muscle. The clean machine is an example of how well it can be cleaned up. Also, the vfd setup that is simple and effective. Includes an original schematic from the factory DOES NOT INCLUDE VFD.
OEM wiring is 220 3 phase.
Located near Vinita, Oklahoma. I can load it on a trailer.
Please check out my video below going over the machine it's quite thorough showing it under power.
Contact me by email, text or call it will be the fastest response.
