I have some health issues and need to get rid of some things I will never get to.

The first lathe is a 1948 Round Dial rebuilt by Monarch in 1948.
The lathe drive looks complete, I have yet to put power to it to test.
The lathe comes with taper, Monarch 5C collet closer, hand wheel type.
I'm asking $2500 for the lathe.

The second lathe is a 1950's Square Dial.
The drive has been gutted.
There is a motor mounted in the machine with direct drive to the spindle, no gearbox.
I have no idea what kind of motor, no tag visible.
I'm asking $1500 for the lathe.

The third lathe is a 1964's Square Dial.
The machine looks complete.
Lathe drive electronics look unmolested except for a single phase transformer wired through the spindle switch.
I'm asking $3500 for this lathe.

All three lathes the beds are in good shape, the carriage lube systems are working.
I can load the machines.
I can possibly deliver for a reasonable fee, contact me for details.
I will get pictures this week on all three machines.

If you have any interest, please PM me.

Kevin

Ok, better late than never..........

I'm currently working on the 1964 modular, and I have a 1961 modular as well, I will get pic's of these machines this weekend.

Let me know if there are any questions.
I can no longer deliver, but I can ship these machines.

It was brought to my attention that the main contactors on the 1948 round dial are burned........so change of plans with this machine.

Looks like I'm going to part it out , PM me with anything you may want off the machine and a reasonable offer.

I would like to sell the complete collet closer setup including the storage brackets for $750.
I want the same for the taper attachment.
The machine is the new height and the tailstock will be available as well

None of the covers look to be broken, the electronics obviosly would be a crap shoot.

PM me with any questions or offers.

Kevin

Kevin is this stuff still available? Are you open to offers on the collet closer setup? Might be interested in the back gear if its the same as the modular (looks like it from the photos).

The collet closer is still available, the 1948 lathe has been sold.
PM me with your offer.

I bought the 1948 (rebuild) Picked it up yesterday.

Kevin is a straight shooter and was good to do business with. He loaded (very professionally) and was all around nice.

Don't fear doing biz with him.

Thanks Nate for the kind words.
It was a pleasure meeting you and doing business with you as well.
Good luck on your project.

The 1948, and the 1964 lathes have been sold.

I will post pictures of the 1962 Modular as soon as it warms up a bit, possibly over the weekend.

Thanks again everyone for the interest in these lathes.

Here's pictures of the 1962 10ee.........

I will have power to the machine by this weekend.
The machine was repainted at least once, it was owned by the Navy originally.
There was some oil staining on some of the surfaces, this machine has not been used in at least 15 years.

I'm asking $4500 for this lathe.

PM me if you have any questions.

Did the price go up or is that a typo and its $3,500 ?

Actually had four lathes total, was not going to sell the 1962, but decided I only need one 10ee.

The 1964 lathe is already sold and did not have taper.
The 1962 has taper and the drive is unmolested.

I have found a drive for the 1957 lathe and will probably put that together to make a running lathe.

The 1962 lathe is the last one that I have for sale at the moment........

It's alive!!!!

I was able to get power to the 1962 10ee, at first it would only go up to 3350 RPM, verified by a digital tach.
Changed the module out and was able to go over 4000 RPM.........All I can say is wow!

I have since changed out the feed belt, now just playing around with the machine, never had a running 10ee up until now........

So, if anyone is interested in this lathe it is for sale and can be seen under power.........

I still have the 1957 lathe for sale.....I have since bought a VFD and 10hp motor for a single phase configuration with no back gear.

This is the VFD I Have, PolySpede Model PC1-100

SPEDESTAR Series | Polyspede Electronics Corporation

Here's a couple of pictures of the motor and information plate.

Here's the link to the pictures of the machine;

I have not done anything to the machine other than gather the pieces for the drive, the machine would need everything to be put together as far as the drive goes......

If anyone is interested in this please feel free to PM me.

I'm asking $3000 and can load.

Kevin
