Been there about a month and the price keeps dropping. No relation to seller, just thought someone here might be interested.

Kearny and Trecker Milling Machine - tools - by owner - sale

One photo for posterity.

Boy, that's a tough one. You've got to admire the technology and capabilities of a rotary head mill. And if you have one in your shop and use it often enough it would be great. But if you use the features only once in a long while it takes long enough to get it in your head again it's a frustration. And when you consider that NC can do anything that it can faster and more flexibly you just have to shake your head.

Still, I hope someone buys it and saves it for posterity. I sure don't have a space for it.

I'd be interested if it was closer however I think its still over priced. I think a closer fair market price for a 2D is closer to half what he is asking. Maybe I'm wrong.

I paid less than a third of that in 1999 for a '68 model with the powered knee lift - with the longer table

Just ran into this thing on FB marketplace for $1000

edit - just the mill, accidentally posted the picture of the collets and can't figure out how to delete it.
