I have a very nice Levin lathe for sale. I came across this lathe some time ago and cleaned it up but never used it. I am really into lathes but I can not keep them all and I need to space for yet another lathe I am acquiring.
The lathe is a very nice condition and although I have not used it, everything runs great. The motor is a 1/3hp 110v Baldor motor with NO brake. It has the original Furnas foot pedal as well. For belt tension there is some type of custom tension arm but I am pretty sure this could be eliminated with the proper size belt.
Comes with the Levin 3 axis cross slide although the axis on top seem to be missing the screw and knob. So 2 axis at the moment. It comes with 27 collets and at least 26 of the 27 are Levin. (the polished one is either not Levin or the Levin branding has been polished off) All step collets are Levin Branded. Also has a 1/8" square Levin Collet. It also has the Levin collet box.
Besides the collets there is a Levin Floating tapping head, a Levin live center with a custom grind on it and a some type of Levin three point live center. I am not entirely sure what the three point live center thing is.
The bench is an original Levin bench with Maple top. The top could be sanded and sealed or used as is with its patina. There is a slight crack in it where the hole for the pully mount is but this does not affect anything.
