Excellent Series 1 Bridgeport milling machine for sale. Purchased from a retired machinist, the machine was rebuilt in the past 10 years and has seen very little use since. The machine was taken down to the knee and completely cleaned and degreased.
All of the ways are in excellent shape, the wipes were all replaced with new units. The screws were completely degreased and re-oiled. The knee has less than .001" taper across the entire travel, the x is is about .001" across 18" of sweep, and the spindle has less than .0005" run-out, the machine is tight. Minimal backlash on the dials.
Rebuilt 1.5Hp Baldor motor. Motor is 120V single phase, so perfect for the home shop. I can load it onto your trailer.
The table is 9x42 and equipped with an original Bridgeport DRO.
