Hello all! Long time lurker, been in the trade for 15 years now. Have a handful of machines at home and looking to make some room for a new machine.
The main machine I want to sell is a Kearney & Trecker Autometric Model B.
Has multiple U.S. Navy tags and a General Mills tag. Also a SSMT service tag out of St. Paul, Minnesota.
Patent tags run from 1941-1948.
It is not currently hooked up to power and has been in storage for a long time. All bare surfaces are heavily coated in heavy cosmoline, the paint is in ok condition. Currently stored in an insulated shop. I believe the motor is 3 phase, not sure if it has any kind of converter or anything for 2 phase.
I don’t know too much about it, so if you’d like to ask questions or see photos, please let me know.
I also don’t know what to price it at. According to my uncle, it was bought by him about 25 years ago at a local college auction. Not sure how long they had it or if it was even used by them. Cosmoline is HEAVY and old.
