I think someone may have posted about this company before. They are using the name Cincinnati Machines and have a Cincy, address. Selling import machines. Here's a link to a tool grinder on eBay. At the bottom of the eBay add is a question from an eBay member (scum artist). If you click on "more" you can read the whole question (scam).

Wow, talk about low, they stole the name "Monoset" and changed it to "monaset" I wonder if this is is a scam, or a chineese company that is now counterfitting old Cincinatti machines. Kind of like starting a "Bridgeport Machines" that makes B-port clones. If you search the rest of their site, some of the stuff like their Milling machine looks like a copy of a later "Toolmaster" http://www.cinmac.com/MillingMachines/CinciMill.html I don't know what the story is here, but this almost definately isn't the now Cincinatti Lamb formerly Cincinatti Milicron, Cincinatti Milling machine, etc... I'd guess with the city's long history of machine tool makers using the name, the Cincinatti Bickford, Cincinatti lathe, and Cincinatti Milling Machine were all seperate companies at one time, that it is pretty hard to copyright the name Cincinatti Machines. Although it seems like it would be similar to opening a "McDonald" Restaraunt that served burgers and fries. I don't know, I just hope that if they copied the the monoset grinder part by part, they did something about the collet system. That machine takes a super rare Monoset collet.

Wow, I just can't figure it out, that site has more spelling errors, and technical blunders. Small ones but visible. I'm wondering if they are importing knock off machines with that name, or maybe rebuilding/renaming old ones with the green paint?

Cincinnati Machines was started by a former employee of Cincinnati Milacron in the 1980's, as I recall. He and his son started out selling used Cincinnati Milacron machine tools and now also import offshore machine tools with the Cincinnati Machines name

When Cincinnati Milacron sold off their machine tool division to Unova, that group became known as the Cincinnati Machine (not Machines) division of Unova. Recently, Cincinnati Machine has been renamed Cincinnati Lamb as they were merged with the Lamb Technicon division of Unova.

A couple days ago I did the "ask seller a question" and wanted to know where the machine was made and of course haven't recieved an answer. Imagine that! I was hoping all questions would appear in the new feature at the bottom of the listing but it didn't, maybe only if it is answered. What a rip off.

Well the company that i work for bought one of Cincinnati Machines OD grinders. Or Supertec whatever. The control plc's lose there place and have weak spindles. Been running it 1.5 years so far. Not half the machine as my OLD cinncys.
