Found this South Bend Lathe along with the motor and a tool post grinder in the back of my dad's garage while cleaning it out. I know he's had it at least since the 70s don't really know much more about it can anyone give me some more information and maybe as to what it would be worth ?

IF I were selling that lathe here in DFW I would get $400 for it without the grinder. If you have the gears and additional tooling $600. The grinder attachment would bring $200 if sold separately.

Location is important. In Orlando the craigslist asking price would be 2x or 3x that, not sure how much they really sell for. A SB 9c with the gears would sell in hours for $600.

Location must be important I guess, around here I would ask 600.00 for everything and set on it for some time. The last one I had I ended up sell for a lot less. Just a few months back and had been trying to sell it forever. They are all over the place.

I may know where one is now for 500 with the gearbox not sure about what all it comes with but I could check and see. P.M. me.
