This is a lathe PROJECT, as-in "some assembly required", included is the cabinet, a 4-jaw chuck, a KDK tool post with a few holders, and the manual. This is a Rockwell lathe model 25-100, SN: 1362068. I am trying to help my neighbor with this, it is his lathe not mine he just needs my help selling it. It is a project that he started a year ago, however, he now needs something bigger. The lathe has been almost completely disassembled, pressure washed and cleaned, and he painted almost everything. The lathe sits in the shape you see in the pictures, all the components are present with the exception of the back bearing housing that was damaged during removal. He is presently making a new one to replace it. The lathe can be put back together and used, but the cross slide screw has some play in it, another can be bought or made relatively easily. I have seen the lathe run before he began the rebuild process, it ran fine. The lathe is in Temecula, I can load it for you no charge. The lathe can be unbolted from the cabinet and everything can be moved by a few bulky guys (no old worn out backs need apply, myself included). He is asking $500.00 for everything. The 5C collets are not included, maybe you can work out a deal for them if you need them, however that would be separate. I see that the lathe is sold. Did it actually leave the property and if not is it still around.
