For sale, a 2008 Sharp SV-2412 VMC. 8,000 rpm spindle, 10 tool umbrella changer. Fanuc oi Mate-MC control.
These are sturdy box ways machines, you can read a lot more about them on the forum than I can explain. I'll post pictures later, it's currently buried in a pile of ABS.
Only issue on it is the sensor mounted on the umbrella changer that senses the spindle nose; some days it will pause during the tool change and wait for you to hit cycle start to continue. That will happen a couple times first thing in the morning, then clear up and run fine. It hasn't been annoying enough to trouble shoot (and the fact that it self corrects), so we haven't torn into it.
We're standardizing on Speedio 30 taper machines, fits our work better then the Sharp, so if you want we can come up with a deal including about 45 CAT-40 tool holders.
