Wanted prototrak age3 DNC key

Hi all

I’m looking for a prototrak age3 DNC key to unlock/allow the full 3axis milling capabilities etc, swi stopped selling them in 2012 as the supplier stopped making them I’ve been told, the machines were very popular so there must be 100’s of unused keys about nowadays

I am based in the uk but am more than happy to cover shipping costs etc

Have you contacted Southwest? They are pretty good about supporting older stuff. I have someone you might try if it does not work out.

How did this work out for you,I have several
prototraks and the DNC key and I would like
to put it all together and do some full 3d machining
It would be helpful to know which software and post processors
you are using as well as the dnc program that works for you.

I have a Trak DPM with A.G.E. 3 control coming and would love to find a DNC key for it as well.

It's crazy that they lock out a simple thing like drip feed functionality by using a parallel port guardkey.

If I had access to the code, I could figure out how to turn off that stupid check on the guard key, or spend a long time peering a assembly code...

One could probably just poke some NOOP instructions to disable the check or return a positive response.
