As the title reads. I'm looking for a 14-16" swing by at least 40" bed gear head lathe. Fairly modern. Not looking for older than 80's as a newer machine will most certainly be in better shape. Machine is basic job shop work. Would prefer metric threading. Tooling would be great. This will probably be the only lathe I ever buy. I haven't need one so far but I'm trying to get into more machine work. I have a full size jet mill. And it's good enough quality to me. So those "types" of machines I'm ok with me. I would like machine to be within 200 miles or so of Delaware. Let me know if you have something. Budget is 4-5k Thanks
