WTB Clausing 8520 or similar mill

Hi all,

I'm looking for a Clausing 8520/8530 or similar Rockwell/Millrite/Hardinge/etc. mill. There is no vehicular access to my shop so larger machines are out unfortunately.

Any pointers would be much appreciated.

Download a craigslist app to your phone and search on a daily basis the area you are willing to drive to, or if willing to have it shipped, the larger area. I can't speak to your geographic region or the asking price there, but here in the mid Atlantic several pop up for sale every year.

The Clausing 85XX are fairly easily disassembled for moving into a basement, and are not a bad first machine when compared to the comparable size mill drill junk from overseas.

It would be a good idea to tell people how far you would travel for the mill

i was going to post this as well . but im in the CA area . so if any one has on in the CA ( LA ) area let me know . im looking to replace my linley jig bore mill.
