I have a Deckel boring head for sale, but to use it on an FP1 you need the unobtainiam riser!

Hmmmm... but as you said ..only if one were to want to mount and run it off a Deckel FP1.
"Some among us" might be more likely to take the time to mount a Deckel boring head to a larger mill than to mount a Rusnok to...
dunno... the center-roof rail in the Chrysler Town & Country van comes to mind. Coupla DVD screens and such in there I've never used ...
