Need the forming nose for the Diacro #3 bender new to me.

I know they are available new for a reasonable price (260 or so) but thought I’d ask here first, thanks for looking!

Merry merry and happy happy, cheers!!

I made my own from a scrap of 52100, works perfectly and was pretty quick to make.
It is a simple shape and I can give you the dimensions if needed.
I actually use a round bending nose more often as it rolls with the material and doesn't mark the 3/8 or 1/2 round bar that I mostly bend.

yup, would totally whip one up, but I don't happen to have a big enough chunk of tool steel laying around. thanks for the offer on the dimensions though!

You bet!
Here are some photos with dimensions.
Of course the centre hole is 1" in diameter.
I made the nose taller than normal but 1.5" would be the stock size.

And one more photo.
Not all the dimensions are critical, the back pointy section is but the front is not given that the nose clamp is adjustable.
The point fits into the notch in the dowel and allows the forming nose to swing out of the way on the return after bending.
Mostly I use a round forming nose that rolls with the bend and I find that very useful for bending 1/2" solid round bar.
