Looking to buy or trade for a cast Lapping plate. 24x24 square is idea but other sizes could work.

Not the size you are looking for, but someone else may have an interest: I have an unused Challenge Machinery lapping plate, 8x8". Old stock, it has been in a drawer in my shop 30 years at least and it was old when I got it. I would like $125 for it.

I have a saw cut 8x8x1-1/8 slice of cast iron. It’s nice iron and has no inclusions or anything. Could make a lapping plate

Look for a second hand cast iron surface plate. That's judt as good and usually cheaper.
