WTB: Mori Seiki MS850 17" x 33"

Looking for a Mori Seiki MS850 17"x 33" or 17"x 40". Some thing close to Denver area would nice.

Greer machinery in LA is the guy to talk to, that's all they sell and they're good guys

There's this one in Tustin CA.

Looks like it needs a good cleaning up, but ways seem to be in decent shape from the images. If it checks out OK then $4k is a very good price.

Have you personally bought a machine from Greer ?

I have and am not at all impressed with him, my 17 x 60 arrived with half a coolant tank of mucky old coolant, oil, & rust, coolant pump didn't work, had a couple of messed of gears inside head stock making pretty loud noises, 1 bad electrical contactor, & some other issues.
Will I get compensated from Greer because I have to replace the internals myself, NO

Greer sent parts out only after repeated emails, all the issues SHOULD had been caught by him if he claims, or others so claim him to be such an expert on these machines.

My advice is DON'T buy from Greer UNLESS you go see the machine your are interested in purchasing.
Lesson learned the hard way for me.
