Why Nardini? I have what you're looking for but mine isn't for sale. They are notoriously hard to start and very hard to put digital readouts on. OTOH they are a good solid manual lathe.

What do you mean by hard to start? I just flip the switch on mine and off it goes. Why are they "notoriously " hard to put a DRO? Been thinking of putting one on mine.

I was thinking the same thing! Put a DRO on mine and it works great. I love my 1440.
