Are you looking for a "conventional" Bridgeport knee type machine, as opposed to a machine with a tool turret? What's your price point? R8 or 30 taper, power feed, CNC or manual, or just a hunk of iron?

I don't have anything, just curious.

I think he is using the generic term as discussed by Wikipedia

In general, I think most machinist's would call a Bridgeport style mill a knee mill, rather than a turret mill, at least that's what I call them.

Yeah, a manual turret knee mill. I do want the swivel and sliding turret with the tilt & nod head -Hence "or similar to bport 9x49". Was considering new also. Prefer 40 taper by I know that is not likely. Replacing my worn out old enco 9x49. Already have machining center.
