Default WTB Small Horizontal Boring Mill

I'm keeping my eye open for a small-ish HBM. Something in the 2 1/2" - 3" spindle diameter and under 14000 lbs. I prefer american, WWII vintage with tailstock and facing head. Top spindle speed in the 400-500 rpm range is fine. I'm thinking something like a G&L 25 or Lucas 41. Looking for something that's in good to excellent condition and I'd prefer to find something in the North East but am willing to consider further for the right machine.

If someone out there is considering selling one of these, please send me a PM or email me at

There is a two for one deal on exactly what you are looking for but it is on the west coast.

I've talked to Shane and the logistics make it unworkable for me right now.

I have a 3" Marcel-Pegard hbm. Built-in facing head. 2 axis dro. Weighs about 17,000lbs. I am right now fixing the motor drive gear. The machine is 25miles across the border from Ogdensburg, NY. Can be seen under power. My bus. #315-713-4418 or message.
