Hey guys,
I've been looking for a smaller VMC for my shop in northern Vermont such as a late 1990s Brother TC229, Matsuura MC550, Fanuc robodrill, etc. I almost had one at an auction in California, but the price to ship and premium were more than the asking price on the machine. The idea is something cheaper than cheap; Old and featureless is fine. I might even consider a Haas if the price is right, but I'd bet there's someone willing to pay more money for it than I am.
If you have any leads for someone thinking of selling or a good used dealer, I'd appreciate a PM. I've already run into a few scam artists.
I read the rules; I definitely don't count as a participating member, sorry. Hopefully they count me as an exception. I read a lot of modern machine shop and have been reading this forum for quite some time. I work in aerospace for an EDM shop, so not a lot of issues I can bring up on this forum unfortunately.
