I am looking for a knee mill in a serviceable condition within a few hours of Memphis. Looking for $2,000 range which I realize isn't going to buy any beauty contest winners. Basically I'm looking for something between the $4,500 completely-refurbished Bridgeports and the $1,000 non-working rust buckets which are about all that pops up on the usual online marketplaces.

3 week old posting that's 4 hours away. You did ask for "ugly" but within a price range. This meets those requirements. Looks like a shop going out of business, has several other machines listed. No idea of condition, no affiliation with seller either.

I'd take a trip up to HGR Surplus. 1 day up, 1 day back. Gasoline is cheap right now and many people have extra time available. Usually several to choose from. Looks like about 8pcs right now and can of course pre-shop online.
