looks like an interesting machine. Is there any relation to a Dekel here? that's what it reminds me of, but I am not very familiar with those types of machines.

There is no relation at all, on the contrary they both were competitors. Deckel is German, Aciera is Swiss. Aciera already existed before WW2 but unfortunately closed down more than a decade ago so Deckel. The name Deckel is still used by a company which took the active of Deckel, Maho and another brand I do not remember of.
