Furnas J103223 switch

Recently purchased this switch on on a site used.
It does not look right as to the contacts for a neutral position forward and reverse, the contacts do not make a good connection by the looks shown. any input on this or people confirming would be greatly appreciated.

Looks fine in the pics???? If not making contact just bend them over a bit.

Bending the contacts over they still miss the other part of the contact totally. Just pushing them over they will not hit the contact without even bending. so it's perplexing to me I don't know if this was modified or what.
Here's a picture of the same part number switch and it looks like the contacts were taller possibly with a double contact area.

Well after further phenagling and bending the center contact down I think I can make it work.
